ECREEE Celebrating 15 years!

On 6 July 2025, the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) will proudly mark its 15^th anniversary, celebrating a decade and a half of impactful work in promoting sustainable energy access, energy efficiency, and renewable energy across West Africa. Since its establishment, ECREEE has played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s energy landscape through policy support, capacity building, innovative programmes, and strategic partnerships. The milestone will be commemorated with a series of events and reflections on achievements, while also setting the stage for bold new initiatives to accelerate the energy transition in line with regional and global sustainability goals.

This celebration is part of the ECOWAS Golden Jubilee (ECOWAS 50^th Anniversary).
