CALL FOR PROPOSAL – ECOWAS SPECIAL INTERVENTION FUND (ESIF)

The ECOWAS Special Intervention Fund (ESIF) is managed by the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), under the auspices of the ECOWAS Commission. This call for proposals provides non-reimbursable co-financing grants for capital expenditure on clean energy projects in ECOWAS Member States.

This call for proposals is supported by the ECOWAS Commission through the ECOWAS Special Intervention Fund (ESIF). The maximum grant available for each selected project is $60,000 USD. The Facility is open to other investment partners interested in contributing to the financing of projects. The support of other partners to the Facility will enable the implementation of additional projects in the ECOWAS region.

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), under the auspices of the ECOWAS Commission is inviting eligible project developer and/ or actor directly involved in the execution of Clean Energy Project to submit their applications to contribute to the sustainable development in rural and peri urban areas of west Africa through increased deployment and usage of reliable and affordable RE&EE technologies and services.

All applications need to demonstrate a clear need and additionality for ESIF. Based on the above, ECREEE encourages eligible entrepreneurs in Clean Energy sector to submit applications in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP) available at www.ecreee.org.
