Recruitment of an Individual Consultant Independent Financial Audit and Verification

Project: Steering the Circular Economy through the Water–Energy–Food Nexus in West Africa – Phase I: Scoping Exercise to Establish the Baseline+

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CEREEC / ECREEE) became fully operational in 2010 with financial support from the ECOWAS Commission and development partners, including the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and technical assistance from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Since its establishment, the Centre has significantly expanded its network of partners, now comprising over twenty organizations active in financing, development cooperation, and technical assistance across the ECOWAS region.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between ECREEE and ADA, the project entitled “Steering the Circular Economy through the Water–Energy–Food Nexus in West Africa – Phase I” is being implemented in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, and Togo.

In this context, ECREEE hereby invites qualified Individual Consultants to submit proposals for the provision of independent financial audit services for the project, in accordance with the attached Terms of Reference (ToR).

  • Proposals must be submitted by email only to audit@ecreee.org with the subject line: “Individual Consultant – External Financial Audit (ADA Project)”
  • Submission deadline: Thursday, 22 January 2026 at 23:59 (Cabo Verde local time).
