Feasibility Study on Business Opportunities for Women in a Changing Energy Value Chain in West Africa

The ECOWAS Centre for Regional Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) has received a Grant of USD 1,000,000 from African Development Bank through the NEPAD –Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility Special Fund (NEPAD-IPPF Special Fund), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract to finance the ‘Feasibility study on business opportunities for women in a changing energy value chain in West Africa’.

Development of implementation frameworks for private investment in the off-grid electrification of public institutions and to promote productive uses of electricity from standalone solar systems in Niger and Nigeria

Consultancy Services for the GEF project “Strategic program to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in the electricity sector of Sao Tome and Principe”

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment (MINRE), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) are jointly developing the Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded project “Strategic program to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in the electricity sector of Sao Tome and Principe”. The GEF project addresses the existing energy challenges of STP by promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in the electricity sector.
