Cadre de Concertation des Acteurs pour L’Electrification Hors Réseau au Mali Compte rendu 1ère Réunion (2019)

Le vendredi 16 avril 2019, s’est tenue à partir de 09h 00mn dans la salle de conférence de l’Ex-CRES de Badalabougou, la première rencontre du Cadre de Concertation des Acteurs nationaux du sous-secteur de l’électricité solaire autonome suivant l’avis de réunion N°00346/MEE-DNE-DE du 05 avril 2019.
La réunion était placée sous la présidence de Madame Aminata FOFANA, Directeur National de l’Energie.
En plus des membres du Cadre de Concertation plusieurs autres personnes ressources ont pris part à la rencontre (voir liste de présence en annexe).

First Committee Meeting National stakeholders meeting on electricity sub-sector- Central African Republic (2019)

On Tuesday 12th March 28, 2019, the National Actors in the Electricity sub-sector held their first meeting of Consultation Framework in the conference room of the Barthelemy Boganda stadium in Bangui, RCA.

The Regional Off-Grid Electrification Project (ROGEP) is supporting this national stakeholders’ committee by allowing them to Facilitate Stakeholder Exchange. ROGEP will support initiatives and activities that would foster industry collaboration with key stakeholders and promote meaningful dialogue for scaling up electrification through off-grid solutions.

Cette 2éme reunion du cadre de concertation pour l’électrification hors réseau faisait suite à la 1ére réunion de lancement official des activités du cadre de concertation et avait pout objet de mettre en place les commissions et de valider le plan d’action 2019 du cadre.

Technical Assistance Training for Entrepreneurs on Pay-As-You-Go Technology and Business Models (2018)

In the framework of the Entrepreneurship Support Facility - a sub component of the Regional Off-Grid Electrification Project (ROGEP), the ECOWAS Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) with the support of the World Bank, organized a regional training workshop for 30 entrepreneurs on Pay-as-you-go Technology and Business Models from June 20-23, 2018 in Accra, Ghana. The training was followed by the first B2B1 networking event organized under ROGEP on June 25, 2018. The B2B brought together 15 international companies with 30 local entrepreneurs.

Report on Proceedings: Second Regional Workshop (2018)

The second regional workshop was held in Accra, Ghana eight months after the first in Dakar, Senegal. The theme for the event was "promoting investments in standalone off-grid systems in West Africa and the Sahel Region”. Its purpose was to provide policymakers and regional leaders with opportunities to understand and appreciate the status of the preparation phase of the project, present the concept notes of project components and to seek their feedback.

Workshops on Renewable Energy for ECOWAS Entrepreneurs (2017)

Under the third call for applications of the ECOWAS Renewable Energy Entrepreneurship Support Facility (EREESF), fifty ECOWAS-based Solar PV entrepreneurs were selected for the third cohort of entrepreneurs to be supported. This activity was made possible as a result of additional financial support that the facility received from the World Bank via the proposed Regional Off-Grid Electrification Project (ROGEP). In previous years, the EREESF could only support between 15 and 20 entrepreneurs per year. The first workshop was held in two countries. One was held in Dakar, Senegal between 7 and 11 August 2017, for the entrepreneurs from francophone and Lusophone ECOWAS countries. The second took place between 14 and 18 August 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria for the entrepreneurs from Anglophone ECOWAS countries.

Report of the Workshop on Regional Certification of Solar PV Installers in the ECOWAS Region (2015)

The second “Regional Workshop on the Certification of Solar PV Installers in the ECOWAS Region” was held in Accra, Ghana from 2 to 3 July 2015. It was organized by ECREEE, with financial and technical support from GIZ and ADA. This workshop was to present the draft JTA to representatives of the remaining ECOWAS member states2 and to gain their commitment to finalize the process, including the remote review of the JTA by national Technical Committees in each country.
