ECREEE participated at the “Seminário sobre o Sistema de Energia em Cabo Verde”, held in Praia (Cape Verde) on the 26th of November 2010 during which it made a presentation on “Promoting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Solutions in the ECOWAS Region: the Role of ECREEE”. The event was organized by the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) and the General Directorate of Energy of the Ministry responsible for Energy, Cape Verde with the funding of the Canary Cooperation.
Back to back to this seminar, a meeting between ECREEE and ITC was held to strengthen relations and seek for synergies for the deployment of Renewable Energies in the ECOWAS region.
