ECOWREX Regional Workshop on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Access Monitoring and Reporting Framework

Under the Umbrella of the Regional Monitoring framework report, ECREEE is the organizing a regional validation workshop to validate the draft regional monitoring report for 2018. This is the third since inception of this initiative following the validation and publishing of the 2016 and 2017 progress reports.

The main objective of the workshop is to validate the draft report for 2018, as well as assist member states in tackling the issues that arise in compiling their annual national monitoring reports.

The specific objectives are to:

1. Present and validate the draft Regional Progress Report 2018.
2. Address problems that arise in data collection and computation of the national monitoring templates.
3. Share methodologies used by countries to fill the national monitoring reports.
