ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF) 2022

The ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF) is the premier energy event in West Africa. It was established in 2015 by the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) to support investment in sustainable energy anchored by strong policy initiatives of ECOWAS member states.
 

Validation Workshop of the Draft Regional Policy of Green Hydrogen

Energy Experts in The ECOWAS Region Poised to Validate the Regional Progress Report

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) is organizing a two-day ECOWREX regional validation workshop scheduled for the 16th to 17th June 2022, in Dakar, Senegal. The Dakar meeting will validate the regional monitoring report for Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Access in the ECOWAS region. 

Kick-off Meeting: ECOWAS Green Hydrogen Policy

ECREEE has partnered with WASCAL - a large-scale research-focused Climate Service Centre designed to help mitigate, and tackle the challenges of climate change in West Africa, and thereby enhance the resilience of human and environmental systems and increased variability. This collaboration with ECREEE will develop a regional Atlas of green hydrogen and unroll a roadmap for the adoption of a regional policy of green hydrogen.
